You can find Prem Shanti Buildcon Llp over at Plot No. A-77 in the H Block of the MIDC area in Moshi. Being out here in Pimpri-Chinchwad means we are surrounded by a lot of industrial activity and construction. Our office is basically a site office that we’ve made permanent. It’s a bit dusty because of all the trucks moving around in Sector No. 9, but that’s just part of being in an industrial zone. We have a big table in the middle where we spread out blueprints and site plans. Most of the time, there are boots by the door because we’re constantly going back and forth between the office and whatever project is currently being built. It’s a loud place, between the machines outside and the constant phone calls. We don’t have much in the way of wall art, just some calendars and maybe a map of the local area taped up. We spend our mornings looking at material costs and talking to contractors. It’s hard work and the days are long, often starting before the sun is fully up. We eat our lunch at our desks most days while checking on delivery schedules. It’s a no-nonsense environment. We focus on getting the structures up and making sure the paperwork for the municipality is finished. It’s just a regular group of us trying to build things right without any unnecessary complications or fancy talk.
