Rahul Mandap Decorator

Rahul Mandap Decorator is based over in Bibvewadi Ksr Layout and we stay pretty busy with the physical side of things. Our warehouse is full of heavy wooden poles, folded curtains, and stacks of plastic chairs that have seen better days. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly it involves loading and unloading trucks at odd hours of the night. We do the setups for small weddings and local gatherings around this area. My clothes are usually stained with dust or some kind of paint because there is always something that needs a quick fix. We don't have a fancy office where we sit and talk. Most of the talking happens on the site while we are trying to get the height of the mandap just right. The weather is our biggest problem. If it rains, everything gets heavy and messy, and we have to work twice as hard to keep things dry. We’ve been working around Bibvewadi for a long time, so we know most of the function halls and open grounds quite well. We don't use any fancy software to plan things out; we just use a notebook and a measuring tape. It’s a lot of lifting and sweating, but when the lights go on and the stage looks decent, it feels like we did something okay. Then we just wait to tear it all down again and move to the next site.
