Ragini Puppet Show & Events

Ragini Puppet Show & Events is based out of Kothrud, specifically at New Cloth 14. If you walked into our workspace, you’d see a lot of puppets hanging on the walls and boxes full of fabric and paint. It’s definitely not a corporate office. There is always a bit of glitter or wood shavings on the floor because we’re often fixing up the shows. Being at New Cloth 14 in Kothrud means we are right in the middle of a very active neighborhood. We spend a lot of our time practicing or organizing the gear for the next event. It’s a lot of manual work, moving stages and setting up lights. Ragini Puppet Show & Events is a small group of us who just enjoy the craft. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people find out about us because they saw a show somewhere. It can be quite loud in the workshop when we’re building things. We’ve been in Kothrud for a while and we’re used to the narrow streets and the local rhythm. Sometimes things get a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big project, but we manage. We just focus on the puppets and making sure the events go okay. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is. It's just us here at number 14 doing what we know.
