Quality Food Product is situated in Rasta Peth, specifically at Panchwati 5 B. Our place is usually filled with the smell of whatever we happen to be processing that day. It’s a busy little unit where we handle various food items, mostly packing and sorting things out. We have to be careful with cleanliness, so we spend a lot of time washing down surfaces and checking the stock. It’s not a huge factory, just a local operation with a handful of workers who know the routine. Rasta Peth is a crowded area, so getting deliveries in and out through the narrow streets is always a bit of a challenge. We’ve had the same neighbors for years and everyone kind of looks out for each other. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to spend the afternoon fixing a conveyor belt instead of packing bags. We don't have a fancy brand image; we just focus on making sure the bags are filled correctly and the labels are straight. It’s physical work and your arms get tired by the end of the day. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a batch isn't right, we don't send it out. It’s as basic as that. Most people who buy from us have been doing so for a long time, and we like it that way. We just keep the production moving along.
