P.V. Sons Corn Milling Co. Pvt. Ltd.

We are out here in the Ranjangaon MIDC area, specifically at Plot No. F-1. Being in Shirur Taluka means it's a bit of a drive from the main city, but it's where the work is. P.V. Sons Corn Milling Co. Pvt. Ltd. is mostly about the machines and the corn. It gets quite loud during the day with the mill running constantly. There’s always dust in the air, but that’s just part of the job. We have a small office near the gate where we handle the orders. It’s a practical setup. Most of us have been here since the machines were first installed. We know all the quirks of the mill, like which belt squeaks when it’s raining. It’s not a fancy place to look at. Just a big shed and some storage silos. We handle a lot of corn every day. It comes in by the truckload and leaves in bags. The sun hits the roof pretty hard in the afternoons, making it warm inside. We take our breaks in the shade when we can. Dealing with the farmers and the transport guys takes up most of our time. It’s a straightforward business. We don’t have any slick brochures. We just make sure the milling gets done right so the customers stay happy. It’s a long day, but we like the work and the people we deal with out here.
