Pune International School And Junior College is over in Vishrantwadi, specifically on Lane No 14. We are at Survey No 33/2, which is a bit tucked away from the main noise of the Pune traffic. The building houses both the younger school kids and the older junior college students. This makes for a bit of a mix in the hallways. You have the little ones running around and the teenagers standing in groups talking about their subjects. The classrooms are spread out across a couple of floors. We have a small area where students can sit during their breaks. Lane 14 is a typical residential lane, so we have to be careful about the noise and the buses coming in and out. Our teachers are busy people, always moving between the college section and the school rooms. The office at the front is usually full of files and paperwork. We have some trees around the perimeter that give a bit of shade during the hotter months. The junior college students are usually focused on their upcoming exams, so you see them huddled over books in the corners of the hall. It’s a very normal educational environment. We don't have a lot of extra space, but we use every corner we have. Most of the staff lives in the Vishrantwadi area or nearby. It’s a functional place where everyone is just trying to get their work done and finish the lessons.
