Priyda Food Product

Out here in Malshiras village, things move at a bit of a slower pace. Our business, Priyda Food Product, is situated in the Purandar Taluka of Pune district. We are quite close to the Bhuleshwar Temple, so we see a lot of people coming through on weekends and holidays for darshan. The air is a bit fresher here than in the main Pune city, which we really like. Most of our day is spent inside the unit where we process the food items. It is a lot of washing, cutting, and making sure everything is clean. We do not use any big fancy machines for everything; a lot of it is done by hand by the local women who work with us. The building is just a simple structure with a tin roof that gets quite loud when it rains hard. We have some trees around the yard where we sit during our afternoon break. It is a family thing, really. We grew up around here and decided to start making these products because the ingredients are right here in the fields. Sometimes the road from the temple gets crowded with buses, but usually, it is just us and the birds. We do not have a marketing team or anything like that. We just make the food and hope people like it enough to come back again. It is honest work for us.
