You can find us at the Poona Guest House Building, right on Laxmi Road. We’ve been here at number 100 for a long time. Being in Budhwar Peth means we are right in the middle of everything, especially being so close to the Dagdusheth Halwai Mandir. That landmark is actually how we tell everyone to find us. Poona Guest House-Sarpotdar Caterers is more than just a name on a sign; it’s where we spend all our time. The building itself has a lot of history and you can feel it when you walk through the doors. It isn't like those modern glass buildings you see nowadays. It feels solid and real. On festival days, the whole area gets incredibly crowded, but we like the energy. Our daily routine involves a lot of moving around, getting things ready, and making sure the guest house and the catering side of things are running okay. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the rooms and the kitchen space. We don’t really do the corporate style of management. It’s more about being here and making sure things get done right. The neighborhood around Laxmi Road is always vibrant, and we feel lucky to have a spot that has been part of the city for so long. It’s a busy life but it is our life and we wouldn't change it for anything. We just keep going, year after year, right here in the same building.
