Pooja Industries

Pooja Industries is located out in Wagholi, near Akshar Chowk. We’re situated at Survey No 289, right off the main Nagar Road. It’s a fast-growing area, so there’s always construction going on around us. We run a small manufacturing unit where we make various industrial components. The machines are pretty loud, so it’s hard to hear the phone sometimes. We’ve been at this spot for several years, watching the road get wider and the traffic get heavier. It’s a basic setup with a tin roof and a concrete floor. My brother manages the machines and I handle the orders and the workers. We aren't some giant corporation, just a local workshop. We often have to work through the night to meet deadlines for our clients. The dust from the Nagar Road is a bit of a problem, so we’re always sweeping the shop floor. We don't do any big advertising; we just rely on the quality of the parts we produce. Most of our neighbors are also in the same line of work. We share tools and help each other out when a machine breaks down. It’s a tough business but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. If you’re looking for us, just turn at Akshar Chowk and follow the road. The road noise from Nagar Road is something we don't even notice anymore after all these years. We have a small area in the back where we keep the raw materials stacked up. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s ours.
