Pentagon Events

Karve Road 33 is the address on our cards, and that is where you will find us most days. Pentagon Events isn't a huge corporation or anything like that. It is just a small group of us trying to get things organized for whatever comes up. The office gets pretty messy with all the papers and floor plans lying around. We usually have a lot of coffee while we try to figure out how to make a stage fit in a small room or where to put the chairs. Karve Road is always full of cars and people, so getting anywhere from here takes a bit of time. We spend a lot of our afternoon on the phone, talking to vendors or checking on stuff. It isn’t always glamorous work. Sometimes it is just moving heavy boxes or waiting for a truck that is late. We don’t have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us hunched over our desks or arguing about where the speakers should go. We’ve been at this for a bit now, so we know the local spots well. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us moving. We don't really have a philosophy or anything; we just show up and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes things go wrong, and we just have to fix them on the spot. That’s just how it is with events.
