Peasant Food Products

Peasant Food Products is located in the Narayannagar area. I am Arvind Patil, and I’ve been running this place for some time now. We are situated right near Jadhav Flour Mill, which is a very busy spot. There is always the sound of the mill stones grinding in the background, and there’s usually a bit of a crowd waiting for their flour. We decided to set up here because it’s a natural place for people to look for food products. Our shop is quite basic with wooden tables and a few metal racks. We make various items that people use in their daily cooking. It can get a bit messy with all the ingredients around, and there’s always a bag of grain or a jar of something sitting where it shouldn't be. I usually have one or two people helping me out with the daily chores. We don't spend money on marketing or fancy labels. We just put the stuff in clear bags and tell people what it is. The neighborhood is friendly, and we often share a cup of tea with the workers from the mill next door. It’s a lot of hard work and the days are long, but it’s a good feeling to be providing something useful to the local community. We just take things one day at a time here. You can't rush these things, and the customers don't seem to mind the wait when we are busy. It’s just how life goes in this part of town.
