Parag Sura Engineers & Contractor

Started out in Narayan Peth years ago. The office is at number 516, right in the thick of things near Modi Ganpati. Pune traffic is always something else around here, but we've gotten used to the noise over the years. It’s an old part of the city, and we’ve seen it change quite a bit while working on various engineering and contracting jobs. Most days are spent looking over blueprints or talking to laborers on-site. We aren't a big fancy firm with receptionists and shiny glass walls. It’s just us doing the actual work. We handle a lot of the structural details and making sure buildings actually stand up right. Sometimes we’re out in the heat all day, and other times we’re stuck at the desk figuring out the math for a project. People usually find us through word of mouth or they just walk in because they saw the sign while heading to the temple. It gets dusty in the office with all the files and rolls of paper everywhere, but that’s how it goes in this business. We don't really do much advertising. We just try to finish what we started so we can move on to the next one. It’s a lot of coordination between the materials coming in and the guys doing the heavy lifting. If you’re around Narayan Peth, you’ll probably see our team moving back and forth between sites. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us going. Anyway, that is pretty much what we do here every day.
