Shailraj Enterprises Engineers & Contractors has its office at 10, Muktangan Commercial Complex. We are part of the Sarang Society, which is located in Sahakarnagar No. 2 in Pune. Maharashtra has been our home base for quite some time now. The complex where we work is an older style of building. It’s got a bit of a worn-out look, but it’s sturdy and it serves our needs well enough. Our office, unit number 10, is where all the planning happens. It’s a room filled with cabinets that are stuffed full of project files and old contracts. We have a couple of large desks where we spread out our maps and blueprints. It’s not a very quiet place because there is always someone talking on the phone or debating a point about a job site. Sahakarnagar is a decent area with plenty of trees and a bit of a residential feel, which makes coming to work a little more pleasant. We don't have a fancy sign on the door, just a small plate with the name on it. The carpet has a few stains from where we spilled tea over the years, but we don't really mind. It feels like a place where real work happens. We aren't worried about looking polished for visitors. Most of our time is spent thinking about construction and engineering, so the office is just a tool for us to get those things done.
