Royal Engineers & Contractors

Royal Engineers & Contractors is based over in Siddharth Chambers in Budhwar Peth. It’s a crowded area but we like it because everything is close by. We spend most of our days looking at drawings or talking to people about construction projects. It’s not always easy work. There’s a lot of coordination involved. Usually, the office is a mess of blueprints and coffee mugs. We’ve been at this address for a long time now. Budhwar Peth has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it. When someone needs something built or fixed, they usually just drop in. We don’t have a receptionist in a suit or anything. It’s just us at our desks. Sometimes we are out on site and the office is empty, but someone is usually back by the afternoon. We deal with all sorts of contracting jobs. Some are small, some take months. We don’t really worry about being the biggest company around. We just want to finish the job we started. People know us for being around when they need us. The stairs up to Siddharth Chambers can be a bit steep, but we don't mind. We talk to the other shop owners nearby and keep an eye on things. It’s a practical way to work. No big speeches or fancy promises, just getting the engineering stuff done. We’ve had some long nights here finishing up paperwork before a deadline. That’s just life at Royal Engineers. We just keep doing the work.
