At Chopde Engineering Contractor, we are based in Sadashiv Peth on Kasturba Road No 6. If you are near Gopal Gayan, you are pretty much there. Sadashiv Peth is an old part of the city with narrow lanes and a lot of history. Our office is at number 1622. Being a contractor means we are often out at sites, but this is where we do all the planning and keep our records. It’s a bit of a tight space, filled with blueprints and old files. We have been doing this for a long time. People in the neighborhood know us. We take on various contracting jobs, mostly local stuff. It is not always clean work; we get our hands dirty quite often. The office is where we meet people to talk about their projects. It’s a very normal place, nothing fancy at all. We have a few desks and chairs that have seen better days. But it works for us.
