We’ve been here in Koregaon Park Market Yard for a while now. Most days it gets pretty busy around lunch time. The kitchen is always moving, pots clanking and the smell of spices everywhere. It’s a simple setup. We focus on getting the thalis out to people who are hungry and just want a decent meal. Sometimes the crowd is more than we expect, so it gets a bit loud. We don’t have fancy chairs or anything, just tables where people can sit and eat. My brother and I handle most of the daily work, from buying vegetables in the morning to cleaning up at night. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but that’s just how it is. We see a lot of regular faces from the shops nearby. They come in, eat quickly, and go back to work. We try to keep things consistent so people know what to expect when they walk in. The menu doesn't change much because people like what they know. Sometimes we run out of things if it’s a particularly busy Tuesday. If you're looking for us, we’re right in the market area, easy to find if you know the landmark. It isn't a big place, but it serves the purpose. We just keep our heads down and do the cooking. It’s what we know how to do best, without making a big fuss about it.
