Om Sai Foods

You’ll find Om Sai Foods over in Kharadi. It’s a busy part of town these days, with all the new buildings going up, but our side stays pretty grounded. We handle a lot of food stuff here. Every morning starts with the smell of whatever we’re prepping that day. It’s a small operation, and we don’t have any of those big automated conveyor belts you see in documentaries. Most of the work is done by hand. We spend a lot of time cleaning, because that’s just how it has to be when you’re dealing with food. The floor gets swept and mopped more times than I can count. Kharadi is a bit dusty with all the construction nearby, so we have to be extra careful with keeping everything sealed up properly. We don’t really have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most people find out about Om Sai Foods just by word of mouth or by seeing us working when they walk past our door. Sometimes we run out of ingredients and someone has to run to the market quickly. It can be a bit chaotic during the peak hours, but we usually manage to get everything sorted in the end. We’re just regular people trying to make decent food products without making a huge deal out of it. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from dawn till dusk, and we’re okay with that pace.
