Octopus Events is located in the Camp area. It’s a place with a lot of history and we like being part of it. We don’t have a huge, flashy office. It’s just a functional space where we keep our event supplies and meet to discuss what needs to be done. Working in Camp means we are right in the middle of things. There’s always noise and people moving around outside. We handle events of all sizes, but we keep our own team small. It’s easier to manage things that way. We aren't the type of people who wear suits or give big speeches about vision. We’re more likely to be seen in jeans, moving boxes or talking on our mobiles to vendors. Some days everything goes exactly as planned, and other days we have to scramble to fix things at the last minute. That’s just how events are. We don't pretend to be perfect. We just work hard and try to make sure things turn out okay for the people who hire us. We’ve been around for a bit and people know us by our name. We don't spend much on advertising. Most of our work comes from people who saw what we did before. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep our heads down. The office has a few old posters and plenty of empty crates stacked in the corner. It's not organized, but we can find what we need.
