We are located in the Katraj and Dhankawadi area of Pune, specifically in Shriram Nagari. Our office is in the Sumitra Mane building, unit A-8. It’s a busy part of town because we are right behind Bharati Vidyapeeth, so there are always students and traffic moving around. Being in this residential-commercial mix makes the office feel very lively. It’s not a formal corporate office; it feels more like a home that’s been taken over by architecture tools. We have tables specifically for big blueprints and a couple of computers that are almost always running design software. There are piles of tiles and wood samples in one corner that we really should organize better. The light in this part of Pune is quite nice in the mornings, but by the afternoon, it gets quite warm inside. We usually have the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes off the Katraj hills. It is a simple place where we do our drawings and meet with people to discuss their home interiors. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside, and you can hear the sounds of the local market nearby. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the shopkeepers on the street. It’s a comfortable spot for us to work without the pressure of being in a fancy downtown office. We just focus on getting the measurements right and making sure the layouts make sense for the people living there. It’s a small, honest team here just doing our jobs.
