We are based in Pune, working under the name MASTERPLAN ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES Pvt. Ltd. The office is where all the actual work happens, away from the noise of the main streets. We’ve been around the city for years, watching it change and grow. Our day-to-day is pretty standard for an architecture firm. We start with some tea, check the latest messages from clients, and then dive into the drawings. Pune has a lot of rules about what you can and can't build, so we spend a significant amount of time dealing with local regulations. It can be a bit of a headache, but it’s part of the job. We don't try to be something we aren't. We're just a group of professionals who know our way around a blueprint. Our workspace isn't polished; it's got stacks of old plans in the corner and pens that always seem to go missing. We work with a lot of different people, from individual homeowners to small developers. Everyone wants something different, which keeps things interesting. Sometimes we are at our desks all day, other times we are out in the dust at a construction site. It's not always a clean job. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure everything is safe. It's practical work for practical people, and we've been doing it this way for a long time now. We hope to stay at it for more years.
