Moniji Enterprises

We run Moniji Enterprises out of Shop No. 1 and 2 in the basement of B. G. Corner. We are located in Nigdi, right near the bus stop. Being in the basement means it stays a bit cooler than the street level, which is nice in the summer. However, when the heavy rains come to Pune, we have to keep an eye on the entrance. The shop is right where the Nigdi bus stop is, so there are always people around. We see thousands of people passing by every day. Some of them pop in just to see what we have. We carry a variety of items, and our shelves are always full. It’s a bit of a squeeze having two shop units joined together, but it gives us the room we need. We aren't a big company with a fancy headquarters. It’s just us in the basement, working hard and talking to our customers. We’ve got a couple of chairs for people to sit on while they wait. The lighting isn't the best, but we know every corner of this place. We spend our mornings cleaning and our afternoons dealing with deliveries. It’s a simple business. We like the location because it’s so central. Everyone knows the B. G. Corner building. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but we stay the same.
