Puntambekar Optics

We are based in Warje at Sr No 17/A/1. The shop is located near Viman Nagar and is situated right opposite the Acharya Society. It is also quite close to the old Jakat Naka, which is a local landmark that most people in this area know well. We spend our days looking at different frames and lenses. It is a fairly quiet business compared to some of the other noisy shops on the street. People come in when they are having a bit of trouble reading or if they just want to get a new look for their glasses. We have the usual eye testing equipment set up in a small, partitioned room at the back of the shop. The front part of the place has glass cases filled with all different types of frames for people to try on. We see a lot of the same faces every week because we have been in this spot for a while now. Warje has changed quite a bit over the years, and it has definitely gotten much busier than it used to be. In the evenings, the traffic near the Jakat Naka can get quite backed up, but the shop stays fairly peaceful for us. We do not try to sell people things they do not really need. If someone just needs a tiny screw tightened on their old glasses, we can do that for them too. It is just us here.
