Nifty Events

Our office for Nifty Events is on the second floor of the Jaydev Hostel premises. It’s right on the 5th Main Road off Prabhat Road, number 9. It’s a bit of an interesting spot being in a hostel building. We share the stairs with a lot of students and people coming and going. Our space is pretty small, just a couple of rooms where we keep our computers and all the files. We’ve been on Prabhat Road for a while now and we like the neighborhood. It’s got a lot of trees and it feels a bit more relaxed than the city center. Most days start with us clearing off the desks from whatever we left there the night before. We have a window that looks out onto the street, which is nice when things get stressful. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the entrance. It’s mostly just us and a few part-time helpers. We don't use a lot of fancy software or anything. We mostly use notebooks and a big wall calendar to keep track of dates. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, so we get our exercise. We aren't a corporate giant, just some people working out of a shared building. It works for us. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the task at hand without overcomplicating things. Sometimes the hostel gets noisy, but that's just part of being here.
