Navale Lawns

Navale Lawns is right there at Sr No 51, along the Mumbai-Bangalore Bypass. If you’re driving past the flyover bridge in Narhe, you’ve probably seen us. We are in C Wing on S V Road, not too far from S K N Hospital. It’s a big open space that takes a lot of work to keep looking decent. We spend a lot of time out on the grass, making sure everything is trimmed and tidy. The noise from the bypass is something you just live with. It’s always there, but after a few hours, you don't even hear the trucks anymore. We get a lot of people coming by to look at the space for their own events. It’s a lot of walking back and forth from the gate to the back of the lawns. The weather really dictates our day. If it’s too hot, we stay under the shade of the trees near the hospital side. When it rains, we’re busy making sure the ground doesn't get too muddy. We’ve been here in Narhe for quite a bit, and we’ve seen the whole area change with new buildings going up all around us. It’s a bit of a landmark now, I suppose. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who look after the place and make sure the gates are locked at night.
