Nanda Decorators

We operate out of Kothrud near the Nanpura area at 31/32. It is a large enough space to hold all the stuff we need for setting up events like weddings or local festivals. If you walked in right now you would see piles of colorful cloth, stacks of plastic chairs, and rolls of carpet leaning against the walls. It is a bit of a maze getting from the front to the back because we have so much equipment stored here. We spend a lot of our time loading and unloading trucks at odd hours of the night or very early in the morning before the sun comes up. My hands are usually a bit rough from tying knots and moving heavy wooden frames around all day. Kothrud is a nice part of town but we are mostly focused on the work we do in the surrounding streets. We don't have a fancy office so when people come to talk about their plans we usually just clear off a couple of chairs and sit right there among the decorations. It feels real that way and you can see exactly what you are getting. The dust from the fabrics can get a bit much sometimes but we just open the big doors to let the air in. It is hard work but seeing everything set up and looking good at the end makes it worth the long hours.
