Our business is located at 752/2 in Bhavani Peth, right across from the President Hotel. Being near the hotel makes it easy for people to find us, which is good because the traffic in this area can be a real mess sometimes. We spend the majority of our days in the back kitchen preparing everything. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly just peeling, chopping, and stirring big vats of food. The walls are plain and the floors are made of simple concrete because we need a place that can stand up to a lot of use. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room for visitors. Usually, if someone comes by, they just find us in our aprons working on an order. The building is older and has its quirks, like a door that sticks in the rain. We rely on big ceiling fans to keep the air moving, but it still gets very hot when all the burners are going at once. Every morning, we check the supplies that come in to make sure we have enough of everything. We use old-fashioned ledgers to keep track of our work instead of anything too technical. By the time we finish cleaning up in the evening, we are usually pretty exhausted. It’s just how we do things here, focusing on the work and not much else. We’ve been at this spot for years and don't plan on moving anywhere.
