M/S Om Food Products

M/S Om Food Products is located at 149/2, right near Mahadev Chowk. It’s a busy little corner of the world, and we like being in the middle of it. We started this business because we wanted to work for ourselves and do something we understood. The space isn’t very big, so we have to stay organized or we’d run out of room for all the stock. My wife helps with the packing, and I handle the sourcing and the machinery. It’s a real family effort. Sometimes things go wrong, like a machine breaking down or a late delivery, but we just fix it and keep going. That’s just part of running a small shop at Mahadev Chowk. We don’t put on any acts or try to seem bigger than we are. People come in and see us working, often covered in flour or spices, and they know we’re putting in the effort. We’ve had some loyal customers for years who wouldn't go anywhere else. It’s nice to have that kind of connection with the neighborhood. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just our physical location where people can find us. It feels good to finish a day’s work and see the shelves filled up. We’re just regular people trying to do a good job with what we have. It isn't always easy, but it is our own thing and we are proud of that.
