More Decorators

Starting out at Yerwada Survey No 191 was a bit of a challenge at first because the space was a mess. We are right on Airport Road, so the noise from the traffic is something you just get used to after a few months. Most days, we are just moving stuff around in the Nagpur Chawl area. It’s a lot of heavy lifting with the tents and the chairs, and honestly, your back starts to feel it by Friday. We aren't some big fancy firm with a million employees, just a handful of us who know how to put up a decent setup for a party or a wedding. Sometimes the weather doesn't play nice, and we have to scramble to keep everything dry, but that's just how this job goes. People around here know where we are if they need something done. We don't really do much fancy talk. If you come by, you'll probably see us loading the truck or untangling a bunch of lights that got knotted up from the last job. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy and we’ve been doing it for quite some time now. The neighbors are nice, and we usually grab tea from the stall down the road when we have a break. It's a simple life really. We just try to get the job done right so people don't have to worry about the decorations when they have a million other things on their minds.
