Mhetre Foods Pvt. Ltd. is situated at 499, Sahajpur, which is right along the Pune Solapur Highway in the Uruli Kanchan area. Being out here in Tal- Daund means we have a bit more space than the shops in the city center, but it also means we deal with the heavy highway traffic all day long. We focus on food production, and our facility is designed more for work than for looking pretty. There are trucks coming and going quite often, bringing in supplies or taking our products out to the various markets. The team here is mostly made up of local people from the surrounding villages. We don't have a corporate office with fancy carpets; we have a workspace that smells like the food we’re making and floors that see a lot of boots every day. It’s a practical environment where everyone knows their job. Sometimes the heat out here can be a bit much, especially in the middle of summer, but we keep the production lines moving. We aren't much for big speeches or marketing plans. We just look at the schedule for the day and try to get everything boxed and ready on time. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve built up over the years. If you’re driving down the highway, you might see our sign, but we’re usually too busy inside to notice the cars passing by as we work through the tasks.
