If you take a walk down Siddanna Lane in Shivaji Nagar, you will eventually see our spot at 1184/A. That’s where Marrquee Events Pvt Ltd is set up. We’ve been in this lane for a while and we like the location even if it gets crowded. The office is often full of samples, fabric swatches, and bits of decor that we’ve brought back from different jobs. It can look a little cluttered to someone walking in for the first time, but we know exactly where everything is. We spend most of our time planning out the logistics for various gatherings. It involves a lot of phone calls to vendors and checking on delivery schedules to make sure things arrive. We don't have a polished showroom. Most of our work happens on the ground or sitting around a table with a messy drawing and a pencil. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city, we just like doing our jobs. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello because they see us loading up trucks early in the morning. Shivaji Nagar is a busy place, and we are right in the middle of all the noise. We don't use a lot of corporate talk here. We just discuss what needs to happen and then we go out and do it. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, but that is how it goes.
