Mantris Music Mantra

We operate out of Bungalow Number 22/1 in the Tatya Tope Society. It’s right across from Shivarkar Garden in Wanworie. Being in a bungalow instead of a regular office building gives us a bit more space to breathe. We’ve got music equipment scattered around different rooms. It’s not a soundproof studio in the way you might see in movies, but it works for us. Mantris Music Mantra is mostly about teaching and practicing. You’ll often hear instruments being played at odd hours of the day. The neighbors are mostly used to it, or at least they don't complain much. The garden across the street is a nice place to take a break when things get too loud inside. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room. People just come to the door and we let them in. It’s a casual environment. We’ve got stacks of sheet music and cables everywhere. It feels more like a home that happens to have a lot of music stuff in it. We aren't a big corporation. It's just a few of us who like music and want to share that with the people who come by. We spend our time tuning instruments or showing someone how to hold a guitar properly. It’s honest work and we like being part of the Wanworie community. It’s quiet here except for the music we make. We just keep practicing every single day to improve.
