We are located over in Shaniwar Peth, specifically at Dsk Chintamani 512. If you know Appa Balwant Chowk, you know how busy this part of town gets during the day. Our office is in F Wing, Flat No 4. It is a bit of a walk up if the lift is acting up again, which happens sometimes in these older buildings around here. Maharashtra Media Services has been tucked away in this little corner for a good bit now. The space is a bit cramped with all the stacks of papers and old equipment we’ve gathered over time, but it’s our space and we like it. Shaniwar Peth has a lot of history and you can really feel it when you walk down the narrow lanes. There’s always someone shouting or a bike honking right outside the window while we are trying to talk. We mostly just keep our heads down and get through the tasks we have for the day. It is definitely not one of those modern glass offices you see in the newer parts of the city. It’s just an old flat we converted into a workspace. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the news or what's happening in the neighborhood. Sometimes clients come by and we have to quickly clear off a chair for them to sit down. It’s a bit messy but we know where everything is. Being near the Chowk means there is always somewhere to grab a quick snack when we work.
