Kumawat Varieties

Kumawat Varieties is situated at unit 10 in Amar Estate, right in the G.I.D.C area of Odhv near Dhanori. Since we are in an industrial estate, we get a mix of factory workers and local residents coming through our doors. We try to keep a variety of goods that people might need during their workday or on their way home. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful about what we stock. You’ll see a lot of different things on the shelves, from snacks to small hardware items. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know exactly where everything is located. The building is an older one, and the area stays pretty dusty because of all the activity around G.I.D.C. We’ve been here at this spot for a good while, and we’ve seen shops come and go. We stay open pretty late to make sure the evening shift people can get what they need. There isn't any fancy lighting or big signs, just the name of the shop above the door. Most days it’s just me or one of my relatives behind the counter. We talk to the customers about the weather or local news while we ring up their items. It’s a steady pace, and we like the routine of it. If someone asks for something we don't have, we try to get it for them next time. The heat gets a bit bad in the afternoon, but we have a small fan that helps. It's a simple, honest living here.
