Kohinoor Mandap Decorator

We’ve got our base at Vishrantwadi, specifically at Malhotra House, Fort Sr No 247. If you come by, you’ll probably see a lot of wooden poles, heavy fabrics, and metal frames stacked up. Mandap decoration is a lot of physical labor, and our space reflects that. It’s more of a warehouse than an office. We spend most of our time out on sites, but this is where all the prep happens. It’s often dusty and a bit disorganized because we are always moving things in and out for different functions. We don’t really have any fancy brochures to show people. Usually, we just talk through what’s needed and show some photos on a phone. The area around Vishrantwadi is busy, so getting our trucks in and out can be a real headache some days. We’ve been doing this for years, and our hands have the calluses to prove it. It’s not a glamorous job, especially when you are tearing down a setup at three in the morning when it’s cold outside. But it’s what we know how to do. Kohinoor has been around the block, and we just focus on getting the structures up so they don't fall down. We don’t use big words or make grand promises; we just show up with the gear and get to work. It’s a simple life of loading and unloading, but it keeps the whole team busy.
