Kimaya Events

We've been operating out of Shaniwar Peth for some time now, right on Naroda Road at number 267. It's a pretty straightforward setup we have here at Kimaya Events. We don't have a massive glass front or anything like that. It’s more of a workspace where we sort out the details for the parties and functions people ask us to handle. Dealing with events means you’re always juggling a dozen things at once, from the caterers to the lighting people. Some days are quieter than others, where we just sit and go through checklists. Other days, it’s a total scramble to get everything loaded into the trucks. We focus on the local area mostly because that's where we know the people and the venues. The traffic on Naroda Road can be a real headache in the evenings, so we try to get our deliveries done early. We don’t do a lot of fancy advertising. Most of the people who come to us are friends of people we’ve worked with before. We just try to be honest about what we can do and what it will cost. If a plan doesn’t make sense, we’ll say so. It’s better to be clear from the start than to have a mess on the day of the event. We’re just a small group trying to do a decent job for our neighbors and the businesses around here. It is plain work, but we enjoy seeing it done right.
