Kaweri Mandap Decorators

Kaweri Mandap Decorators is over in Chinchwad 2. Our place is more of a warehouse than a fancy office. It’s where we store all the heavy wooden frames, the various colored drapes, and the decorative pillars we use for weddings and functions. It can get quite messy inside, especially right after a big event when everything comes back and needs to be cleaned or repaired. We spend a lot of time in the yard out front, loading and unloading the trucks. Chinchwad 2 is a busy industrial and residential mix, so there’s always noise from the street. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people usually just find us by word of mouth or by seeing our trucks around. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sorting through strings of lights or painting some of the props to keep them looking okay. It’s physical work, and our hands are usually a bit dirty from moving gear around. We have a small table in the corner where we sit down with customers to look at some old photo albums of past setups. We don’t use fancy computer designs, just the photos and our experience. It’s a family-run sort of thing, and we’ve been doing this in Chinchwad for years. We just focus on getting the mandap set up on time and making sure it doesn't fall over. It’s basic, honest work that keeps us busy all year round.
