We are located over at Marketyard 1228 on Fergusson College Road. Being around flowers all day means the place usually smells pretty good, even if it gets a bit messy with all the stems and leaves on the floor. Our mornings start way before the sun is even up. That’s when the fresh loads come in from the growers, and we have to get everything sorted before the heat kicks in. The FC Road area is always lively, so there’s never really a dull moment outside our door. We’ve been doing flower decoration for a long time now, and it’s basically what our whole lives revolve around. It’s a messy job; your hands are always stained or a bit damp, and your back usually aches by the end of the shift. We don’t have a fancy showroom; it’s more of a workspace where we get our hands dirty. There are buckets everywhere and piles of marigolds or roses depending on the season. Sometimes the shop feels too small for the big orders we take on, but we make it work by using every inch of the floor. Sometimes the delivery vans get stuck in the market traffic, and we have to run out to help them unload right in the middle of the street. It’s stressful, but it’s just part of the daily routine here. We aren't big on talking about ourselves; we just prefer to stay busy with the flowers.
