Iqbal Sound Mandap Decorator

We operate out of Shivaji Nagar in Alkapuri. Being in Vadodara for all these years, we've seen a lot of events and changes. Iqbal Sound Mandap Decorator is basically just us and our equipment. We keep the speakers and the decorative cloths in the back area. It gets pretty busy during the wedding season, as you can imagine. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks at odd hours. Sometimes the wires get tangled, and we spend half the morning sorting them out. That’s just part of the job we do. Our space in Alkapuri isn't huge, but it fits what we need for now. We know most of the people around Shivaji Nagar. If there's a local function or a small party, we're usually the ones they call. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anything. You’ll usually find us out on a site or here checking the sound systems for repairs. It’s noisy work sometimes. We try to keep things organized, though it doesn't always look like it to an outsider. The weather in Vadodara can be tough on the fabrics, so we have to be careful with how we store everything. We’ve been doing this for quite some time now. We aren't trying to be the biggest outfit in town. We just want to make sure the lights work and the sound is clear when people need it. It’s hard work, especially the late nights setting up in the rain or heat, but we’re used to it. We just keep going.
