We’ve been over at S.P. Road for quite some time now, specifically in the Mohsin Building at numbers 53 and 53/1. If you know this part of the city, you know it gets pretty busy and loud with all the traffic. Our shop is mostly filled with the smell of grease and the sound of machines turning. We deal with gears every single day. It is not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the floor is a bit oily, but that is just how it goes when you are working with metal parts all day long. The staff here mostly consists of guys who have been doing this for years. We open up early, usually before the heat really kicks in, and stay until the work is finished. People stop by looking for specific sizes or just to see if we have something in stock that they can't find elsewhere. It’s a lot of manual work, checking measurements and making sure the teeth on the gears are right. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us in the building, handling orders and talking to people who walk through the door. The Mohsin Building is old, and it has its quirks, like the lights that flicker sometimes, but it works for what we do. We just focus on the gears and keeping things moving. We take our breaks together and talk about local sports or the news.
