We’ve set up Incept Pictures over in the Hadapsar area, specifically in the Greveliia building, flat F/402. It’s more of a studio space than a regular office, so you’ll see cameras, tripods, and a lot of tangled cables lying around if you visit. We spend a lot of time editing and looking at footage on our monitors. Oshiwara is nearby, and the whole area is always full of energy. Working from an apartment-style space works for us because it feels more relaxed when we are trying to be creative. Sometimes we stay late into the night finishing up a project, and the view from the window is the only thing that changes. We aren't a big production house with hundreds of employees, just a small group that likes making things look good on screen. The elevators in the building can be slow, so we’ve learned to be patient when we’re carrying gear in and out. It’s a practical way to run a business, and we don’t spend money on fancy decorations that don’t help the work. Most of our day is spent debating about colors or sound levels until we’re happy with how it turned out. Being in Hadapsar gives us a good base to travel to different locations around the city. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day after day.
