House Of Music

Our place is C 502 in Surobhi Township, located in Dashrath Nagar, Vishrantwadi. It’s a residential space where we focus on everything related to music for the local community. You can usually hear some sort of instrument being played if you come near the door during the day. We spend our time teaching or practicing our own music. It’s not a big commercial studio, just a comfortable spot in the township for us to work. Vishrantwadi is a nice area and being inside a township makes it feel more like a community rather than a business. We have different people coming in throughout the week for their sessions. Some are just starting out and others have been playing for a long time. There are always instruments lying around like guitars, drums, or keyboards. We spend a lot of time just listening and trying to get the notes right for whatever we are working on. It’s a slow process sometimes and requires a lot of patience. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who really care about making music. The walls have some posters and the furniture is simple. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed so nobody feels too much pressure when they are here. It’s just about learning and enjoying the sound of the instruments. People from around the neighborhood find us easily enough. We’ve been at this address for a good while now and it feels right.
