You can find us down Lane No 7 in Koregaon Park, tucked away near Gulmohar Garden Society. It’s a bit quieter down this lane compared to the main road, which is nice for a change. We’ve been running this restaurant for a while, just trying to make decent food for the folks in the neighborhood. The kitchen is where most of our day happens. We start early, taking deliveries and making sure we have enough of everything for the lunch rush. It gets pretty hectic around one o’clock, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be the most stylish place in Pune, just a reliable one where you know what you’re getting. The walls have a few scuffs and the chairs aren't brand new, but it’s comfortable enough. We see a lot of students and office workers who live nearby. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy outside, but we keep the inside as clean as we can. We do all our own cooking and don’t use any pre-made stuff from packets if we can help it. It takes more time that way, but it feels right. My brother helps out with the books and the rest of us stay in the back or help out at the front. It’s a family-style setup, really. We just enjoy the fact that people keep coming back after all this time.
