Haryana Sweet Home

Haryana Sweet Home is inside the Chinchwad Kpct Mall, specifically at Fatima Nagar 19. Being in a mall is quite different from having a shop on the street. Everything is under one big roof and the air is always the same temperature. Kpct Mall in Chinchwad is where we spend our days. Our spot is Fatima Nagar 19. People come in for movies or shopping and then they usually see us. Haryana Sweet Home has glass cases full of sweets. It’s a lot of cleaning because of all the fingerprints on the glass. Kids love touching it. We don't have a mission statement or any big goals. We just make the sweets and sell them to whoever walks by. The mall gets really busy on the weekends and we barely have time to sit down then. On Mondays, it’s dead quiet and you can hear the hum of the air conditioning. We spend those slow days counting our stock and cleaning the back room. Fatima Nagar 19 is our little corner of the building. We moved here because the foot traffic seemed like a good idea. It’s okay for now. The rent is high but we manage to get by. We aren’t a big chain or anything. Just a local sweet shop that happened to get a spot in Kpct Mall. We just keep the trays full and the scale ready for the next person who stops.
