Harshal Hall

You can find Harshal Hall over at 53 Kasat Chemical Compound. We are situated on Karve Road in the Kothrud area of Pune, right across from the McDonald’s. The compound used to be for chemicals, so it’s an older industrial-style space that we have turned into a hall for people to use. Being right on Karve Road means there is a lot of traffic all the time, and the 411029 area is always humming with people. The hall itself is a big open space that we have to manage every day. We spend our time sweeping the floors, checking the overhead fans, and making sure the bathrooms are clean for whenever the next group comes in. It’s a lot of maintenance work to keep an old building like this in good shape. When there is an event planned, we are busy helping people figure out where to put their tables and how to set up their stage. Across the road at McDonald’s, it’s always busy, and we use that as a landmark when people are calling and trying to find our entrance. The space isn't luxury, but it serves its purpose for the people in the local community. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure the hall is open and ready for whoever has booked it. It’s a practical job that keeps us on our feet, moving around the compound and checking on things before the guests arrive.
