Green Graphics

Our place Green Graphics is situated in Sunita Apartment on Shivaji Road. The exact address is C 102 and the survey number is 1417/18 which sounds complicated but once you get near Shaniwar Wada it is easier to find. We are in the Kasba Peth area which is one of the oldest parts of the city. Being near the Shaniwar Wada means there are always tourists and students walking around. Also we are opposite the Yoga Yoga Mangal Karyal so on wedding days the street gets really packed with people and music. Inside the apartment we have our computers and printing machines set up. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with the paper rolls and the desks but we make it work. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait for it to come back to finish the designs. We do mostly graphic work and printing things for local businesses or students who need projects done. Living and working in Kasba Peth has its own charm because of the narrow lanes and the history of the place. We have been here for a good amount of time now. The building is a bit old but it’s sturdy. I spend most of my day sitting in front of the screen or talking to people who walk in from Bhuyangdev side. It’s a busy life but it keeps us going. We don’t have fancy signs just a small one to let people know.
