Our office is out at Survey No 27 in Raghavendra Nagar, right in the Kharadi area. It is pretty easy to find since we are quite close to the Reliance Mart, which is always crowded. The traffic around here can be a real headache, especially in the evenings when everyone is finishing work. We have a warehouse space that feels a bit too big some days and too small on others. Most of the time, we are busy checking the inventory on our computers or talking to the drivers who bring the supplies in. The name Glokal sounds a bit fancy, but we are just regular people working in a dusty part of town. We have a small pantry where we make coffee, and that is usually the most popular spot in the building. There are a lot of new buildings coming up all around us, so there is always the sound of construction in the background. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anyone sitting at a front desk to greet people. If someone knocks, one of us just gets up from our chair to see who it is. We spend a lot of time on the phone and dealing with the usual daily hiccups that come with running a food business. It is a lot of work, but it keeps us on our toes and the days go by fast.
