Genie Events

Genie Events is out here on Sinhagad Road. Specifically the 2nd Cross in Someshwara Nagar. It’s a bit of a maze to find us if it’s your first time, but we like the quiet of this block. We’ve been operating out of this 24/6/7 address for a while. It’s basically a converted house where we keep all our supplies. There’s always crates and boxes stacked up in the corners. It gets messy when we have a lot going on. We aren’t some high-end firm with suits. Most days we are just in jeans and t-shirts moving stuff around. Someshwara Nagar is a nice spot, mostly families around us. We try to keep the noise down when we are loading the trucks late at night. Sometimes the neighbors complain, but we usually sort it out with a chat. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. Not as glamorous as some people think when they hear the name. We just take it one day at a time. The local shops know us well by now. We’ve had some good years and some tough ones too. That’s just the nature of it. We don’t have a website that’s updated regularly. Most of our stuff happens right here on the ground. We have a small table in the back where we eat lunch together. It’s usually just home-cooked food someone brought. The gate creaks when you open it, but we never got around to fixing it.
