The place is called Food Processing and we are located at 18, Brahmadarshan. It’s a bit of an older building but it works for what we need to do. Every morning the smell of whatever we’re working on fills up the space. It might be spices one day or something else the next. We have a small crew and we all know our roles pretty well. There’s a lot of cleaning involved because you have to keep things tidy when you’re dealing with food. It’s not a massive factory with robots, just people standing at tables doing things by hand. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend an hour fixing a belt or a motor. The Brahmadarshan building has its quirks, like the light in the back that flickers, but it’s home to us. We don't really do much advertising; people usually find out about us through word of mouth or just seeing the address. Our desks are covered in samples and jars and old notebooks. It can get a bit noisy when everything is running at once, but we’re used to it. We just focus on getting the processing done and the bags sealed up right. It’s a simple life, really. We come in, do the work, and head home when the batches are finished for the day. No big mystery to it.
