Flora Food Corporation

Flora Food Corporation is based in Viman Nagar at the Adarsh Nagar Society, plot 48/2. We are right in the middle of a busy neighborhood that has changed a lot over the last ten years. There are many students and people working in IT around here now. We spend our time dealing with various food items like grains and spices. The warehouse smells quite strongly of different seasonings which is something you get used to after the first week. We don't have a big storefront where people can browse through aisles. Most of our work is done in the back where we sort and weigh the products. We have a small team of workers who help with the packing and the heavy lifting of the sacks. In the afternoons it can get quite hot inside so we keep the big doors open to let the breeze in. We have lived and worked in Viman Nagar for a long time and we have seen all the new buildings go up around us. We just keep doing things the old way without any fancy equipment or flashy advertisements. Sometimes a bag breaks and we have to spend an hour sweeping up lentils or flour from the floor. It is just a normal part of the job for us. We just make sure the goods are clean and ready to go out to the local markets.
