Fidelity Food Pvt Ltd is based in Chinchwad East on Mutha Road. Our specific spot is Ga-5/3. It is a decent enough place for what we do, which is mostly processing and packing food stuff. The traffic on Mutha Road can be a real pain in the neck, especially during the morning rush when we’re trying to get things started. We’ve been operating out of this location for a bit now. Even though it is a private limited company, it doesn't feel like a big corporate office at all. It’s just a bunch of us in our work clothes getting the job done. The floors are concrete and we spend a lot of time cleaning them because you can’t have dirt around food. The machines are pretty loud and they run for most of the shift. Sometimes the power cuts out and we just have to sit around and wait for it to come back, which can be annoying when we have a deadline. We don’t have a flashy sign or anything, just the address Ga-5/3 painted near the entrance. Most of the people working here live nearby in Pune. We know each other's families and how everyone takes their tea. We just focus on getting the raw materials processed and sent out the door. It is simple, hard work but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We don’t need much else. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we go sometimes.
